Active Engineering is an Australian company specialising in the design and manufacture of a wide range of metal manufacturing solutions.

Active Engineering employs a team of highly skilled tradespeople including draftsmen, engineers, fitters & turners, toolmakers and boilermakers that bring to the company expert knowledge of horizontal boring, machining, turning and welding.

With a large manufacturing plant located in Coburg, Victoria, Active Engineering has developed strategic relationships with raw material suppliers to ensure customers receive the benefits of volume purchasing.

Meet The Active Engineering Team

Owned and operated by partners Filip Zefkic (left), Ming Chen Hua and Chris Piplios, Active Engineering was incorporated in 1988 with the vision of providing customers with a complete range of high quality engineering services.

Each project is evaluated and co-ordinated by Filip, who has over 45 years experience in the engineering industry, specifically in materials handling equipment and drafting. Operations and production is managed by Ming, who has over 30 years experience as a qualified fitter and turner and supervisor with a wide range of large projects. Hydraulic cylinder manufacture and CAD drafting is handled by Chris.
