About Active Engineering

Active Engineering Industries is a young Australian company that was incorporated in Victoria in 1988.

Our specialist design and engineering knowledge allow us to offer you a wide range of services, including complete material handling projects, hydraulics, general machining and fabrication needs.

In our short history we have developed a professional team of skilled engineers, draftsmen and tradesman. They bring to our company expert knowledge of sophisticated machining equipment such as horizontal boring machines, turning lathes, guillotines, brake press, plate rolls, centreless grinding, honing and welding equipment.

Active Engineering Industries is owned and operated by three shareholders, Filip Zefkic, Chris Piplios and Ming Chen Hua. Each having many years experience in design or manufacture, fabrication, turning and servicing of materials handling equipment.

Active Engineering Industries incorporates:

1. Active Engineering P/L - which manufactures special purpose machines and offers 24hr breakdown repair service.
2. Screw Conveyor Engineering P/L - which designs and manufactures bulk materials handling equipment.
3. Active Hydraulics - Formely Dynamic Engineering, repair and manufacture hydraulic cylinders.
